evolution of a duo

Headstrong Butterflies formed in the cocoon of the worldwide lockdown in 2020. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Brenda Mandabach and David Mauk moved west and became Las Vegas casino musicians, wrote and took a Broadway musical to the New York Musical Festival in 2017, and composed music for several international ancient artifact exhibitions, including King Tut, Cleopatra, and King Ramses II. Headstrong Butterflies is a return to their alternative rock roots and love of pop singles.
